If you’re expecting a single baby, we recommend scheduling your session between 28 and 34 weeks. This is the sweet spot where your bump is beautifully visible but you’re still likely to be comfortable during the shoot.

For multiple pregnancies (twins or more), sessions are usually scheduled earlier, between 25 and 30 weeks, depending on how much your belly has popped. Multiples often arrive earlier, so we plan ahead to ensure we capture those special moments in time.

We only book maternity sessions within these timelines. If you're past 34 weeks, please reach out—we may be able to fit you in if a last-minute slot opens up. If you enquire early, we will not schedule past 34 weeks, but we are happy to book you in earlier.

Absolutely! Feeling unsure is completely normal. You don't need to know how to pose—we’ll guide you every step of the way. From head to toe, we'll direct you into flattering angles to ensure you feel confident and look amazing. Don’t worry about blemishes or insecurities—we all have them, and we’re here to help you shine.

To secure your booking, we require a $100 non-refundable booking fee, payable within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session.

If the booking fee is not received within the specified timeframe, the date will be released and made available to others. If you cancel after paying in full, your $100 booking fee will be retained and the rest refunded.

The $100 booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including early delivery. This fee covers admin time, communication, and the reserved time slot, during which we mark ourselves unavailable for other bookings.

However, we’re happy to reschedule your session to a “Mummy & Me” session or another portrait session of your choice if needed.

Your final, edited images will be delivered through a secure online gallery, available for download in high resolution.

Want a physical copy? USB drives are available for an additional $25.

We do not provide RAW or unedited JPEG files. When you book Kat Alora Photography, you’re investing in a curated experience and final product that reflects our artistic style and quality standards.

Yes—partners and siblings are welcome to be part of the session at no extra cost.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by another adult who is not being photographed, for their safety and to ensure a smooth session. This allows us to focus on capturing beautiful moments with you while your child is safe and cared for.
